He was born
in Erzurum in 1971. After primary and secondary education, he graduated from
ITU Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1994. He developed software
projects in his own company for many years. In 2001, he exported software to
Europe.
In 2006,
Aksakal made a strategic shift to the retail sector, taking on the role of IT
Director for Turkey's largest local chain. He was instrumental in integrating
e-commerce into the sector, foreseeing its potential and adapting the sector's
processes to this new trend. His efficiency-oriented and holistic approach
revolutionized the retail sector, solving traditional problems with functional
IT products.
In 2010, he
conducted research studies on orcharding to develop solutions for sustainable
agriculture and food supply, among the chronic problems of the retail sector.
In 2012, he became the investor and operator of one of Turkey's most extensive
monolithic orchards, established on 5,000 acres. He established and managed a
sustainable, high-quality, and healthy business management that was in line
with the expectations of the retail sector in orchard management. He
established the IT infrastructure that will digitize the production and harvest
processes using innovative technologies to manage the orchard efficiently.
Aksakal established an end-to-end agricultural production chain from agricultural production to logistics process management, from sustainable retail supply to high-quality and healthy agricultural production with the understanding of 'from field to table'.
Aksakal established an ecosystem that will increase employment and contribute to rural development with the production model he established by bringing together villagers with small fields and achieving efficient and healthy fruit production based on economy of scale. With this cooperation and collaboration concept developed by Aksakal, reverse migration from the city to the village began, especially in Yozgat Kadışehri.
Aksakal, who is married and has three daughters,
started serving as a Board Member within Denge Yatırım Holding in 2024.
